Faso Cars Rentals collects only the information needed to verify renters, process bookings, and operate our rental fleet responsibly.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone, date of birth, and address.
• Verification data: driver's license images, license details, and an identity selfie.
• Booking data: dates, pricing, agreement acceptance, and inspection records.
• Payment metadata: card brand and last four digits. We never store full card numbers.

How we use it

To verify eligibility, prevent fraud, prepare rental agreements, process rental charges and deposits, and contact you about your booking.

Storage and access

Verification documents are stored in private storage. They are accessible only to you and authorized staff performing verification. Row-level security prevents other renters from accessing your records.

Retention

We keep booking and agreement records as required for accounting, insurance, and legal purposes, and delete verification media when it is no longer needed for those purposes.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only when required by law, to process payments, or to resolve damage, toll, or violation claims tied to your rental.

Your choices

You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data by emailing service@fasocars.com. Some records must be retained for legal compliance.
