Question 1

How long do I have to rent for?

Accepted Answer

Rentals run a minimum of 3 days. That applies to new reservations and to extensions — if you need the car longer, the shortest extension you can pay for is 3 days.

Question 2

How soon will my booking be approved?

Accepted Answer

Most bookings are reviewed within 24 hours. You'll get a notification the moment your status changes, and pickup details unlock once our team completes the release checklist for your rental.

Question 3

Where do I pick up the car?

Accepted Answer

Pickup is in the New Jersey & Philadelphia area. The exact address and arrival instructions appear in your dashboard only after your booking is approved, paid, and released by our team.

Question 4

Do I need my own insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your own auto policy with physical damage (collision/comprehensive) coverage is required and mandatory. Liability-only coverage is not accepted because it does not cover damage to our vehicle. Without the required coverage you are fully responsible for any damage that happens to the vehicle during your rental.

Question 5

How old do I have to be to rent?

Accepted Answer

You can rent from age 21 through 70 with a valid, unexpired U.S. driver's license. Renters aged 25-70 pay a $200 fully refundable security deposit hold; renters aged 21-24 are eligible with a $400 fully refundable hold.

Question 6

Is there a security deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it is a refundable authorization hold — not a charge. It is released after the return inspection confirms no new damage, no missing fuel, and no excess mileage, typically within 5 business days of approval.

Question 7

How many miles are included?

Accepted Answer

150 miles per day included (1,050 miles per week), then $0.35 per mile. Miles beyond your included allowance are billed at the per-mile rate shown on your booking and in your signed agreement.

Question 8

Can someone else drive the car?

Accepted Answer

No. Only the verified renter named on the rental agreement may drive the vehicle.

Question 9

What if I return the car late?

Accepted Answer

There's a short grace period, then late returns are billed hourly. Hourly late fees stop after a full rental day, at which point a new rental day is charged. If you need more time, text us before your return window closes.

Question 10

Do you allow smoking or pets?

Accepted Answer

Strictly no smoking or vaping in the vehicle. A $150 smoke remediation fee is charged to any evidence of smoking or vaping, in addition to any further cleaning required. Pets are not allowed; a $50 pet fee applies if evidence of an animal is found, plus any documented cleaning or repair cost.

Question 11

What happens if I return the car with less fuel?

Accepted Answer

Return the vehicle with the same fuel level recorded at pickup. If it is returned below that level, a $50 fuel service fee applies in addition to the cost of replacement fuel. Renters are responsible for using the correct fuel type.

Question 12

What is the NJ Domestic Security Fee?

Accepted Answer

New Jersey imposes a $5-per-day Domestic Security Fee on qualifying rentals, charged for up to the first 28 days. It's a state fee we collect and remit — it isn't ours to waive.

Question 13

Where do I see all the fees before I book?

Accepted Answer

On our fees page and in your checkout summary. Every amount is shown before you pay, and your booking stores a snapshot of those exact amounts so your agreement and receipts never change later.

Question 14

How is my license and ID information handled?

Accepted Answer

Identity verification runs through Stripe Identity. We keep your license image on file for emergencies, accessible only to you and our verification team, and we store only derived eligibility results — never your date of birth from the ID.

Question 15

Can I cancel or change my dates?

Accepted Answer

Yes — cancel free up to 24 hours before pickup, and move your dates up to 24 hours before pickup if the vehicle is available. You'll be asked for a reason, and your booking page shows the exact refund breakdown right after you submit.

Question 16

Can I download the agreement I signed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your signed rental agreement, including the acknowledgements and the fee schedule you agreed to, is downloadable as a PDF from your dashboard and your booking page.

Question 17

Accepted Answer
